This was truly a weekend of magnificent performances and amazing achievements. Third place and the first podium ever for Urša Bogataj, second place in the team event, and fourth place for Nika Križnar.

The organisers in Ljubno won the battle with the tough weather conditions and managed to pull off the third competition in three days. Among the Slovenian ski jumpers, Nika Križnar tackled the demanding conditions best and finished in excellent fourth place. She missed the podium by only 0.9 points.

Excellent. Slovene female ski jumpers placed only behind the German team at the "festival" of female ski jumping in Ljubno.

In Ljubno ob Savinji, right underneath the Rajhovka peak, Urša Bogataj placed 3rd, jumping onto her very first podium! Other Slovenians competing at the event were also successful: Nika Križnar took 6th place, Špela Rogelj 14th, and both Jerneja Brecl and Katra Komar also received World Cup points.

Only two days left and the first ski jumpers will reach for the sky above the ski jump in Ljubno.

It is never really hard to tackle the preparations of such an important event as the competition in Ljubno. However, when the sun appears from behind the clouds, we work twice as zealously.

In exactly a week, we will be excited to be part of the first ski jumps underneath Rajhovka at this year’s Ladies World Cup Ski Jumping event, spanning across three days.

The hustle and bustle under the Rajhovka peak is already in full swing! We are already working at full speed in setting up the event area, where the best female World Cup ski jumpers will compete between the 8th and the 10th February, while being cheered on by the best ski jumping fans in the world.

After 20 World Cup competitions in this season, Slovene ski jumpers reached for the first podium of the season; however, the athlete who achieved it came as a surprise.

Setting up the competitors' village that will become the second home for all the competitors during the three days of competition in Ljubno is already under way!
